EagleOne uses a combination of purchased software and in-house written systems to dispatch, track and POD deliveries.
In-house written systems include all scanning capabilities - driver route load and delivery scanning, receive-scanning of packages at our various facilities, dock scanning of packages from a customer’s location to a linehaul and scanning sensitive packages to a driver for chain of custody purposes.
Our extranet site, currently at http://tools.eagleonelogistics.com, provides the ability to look up shipment data including stop information, expected and actual delivery times, POD information including actual digital signature and package barcode detail at each stop location. We provide additional tools including a package lookup search to look up a scanned package by full or partial barcode. Our extranet also includes a call ticket report for reporting on calls to our Customer 1st department. Because the extranet is written in-house, we have the capability of customizing the site to accommodate varying customer requirements.
