Security
The EagleOne Department of Security is headed by David Joplin who works to ensure that EagleOne security procedures continue to meet the highest standards in the "last-mile" logistics industry.
Joplin is responsible for establishing, monitoring and coordinating security programs, policies and practices. He manages loss-prevention procedures, investigations, security system and surveillance upgrades, as well as directing internal and external security assessments. He also provides company-wide security awareness training and education and serves as our liaison with law enforcement in our various locales, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
Prior to joining EagleOne, Joplin spent 15 years as a police officer. For the last seven of those years, he served as a Crimes Against Persons Investigator through the criminal investigation division and specialized in voice stress analysis. He also has served as an investigator specializing in crimes against property and domestic violence.
Joplin has more than 950 hours of police training and certification in drug enforcement, fraud detection, truth verification testing and incident command. He is a current or past member of the National Institute for Truth Verifications, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Fraternal Order of Police and the Regional Organized Crime Information Center.

EagleOne further retains The Hutchinson Group LLC to audit our company’s loss prevention procedures and oversee facility security and best practices. The Hutchinson Group is headed by Asa Hutchinson, former Drug Enforcement Agency Administrator and Undersecretary of the Border and Transportation Security Directorate, the largest division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
