Distribution Scanning Implemented
FORT SMITH, AR (April 2, 2009) - EagleOne has successfully rolled out it’s latest in-house created distribution scanning solution. On the administrative end, EagleOne’s new system allows advanced shipment notification (ASN) files to be received via e-mail and electronically pulled into the back-end dispatching system and routed. A new handheld scanning application was developed to simplify the scanning of distribution deliveries. The new system integrates the POD and delivery information with EagleOne’s existing back-end software system which allows customers to view their delivery information by logging onto to EagleOne’s customer portal at http://tools.goeagleone.com.

EagleOne’s new scanning for distribution contributes to EagleOne’s current stable of scanning solutions that includes receive scanning, load and deliver scanning, chain of custody scanning for sensitive goods, and dock scanning at customer locations.
